We’re looking for an Infrastructure Development Engineer to join our Property & Infrastructure directorate in a full-time permanent role based in our Queenstown offices.
This role plays a key part in ensuring QLDC’s three waters, transport, and open spaces infrastructure is effectively planned, assessed, and optimised to meet current and future development needs. You’ll provide technical advice and coordinate responses to developers, planners, and engineers, helping to shape infrastructure outcomes across the district. Working closely with internal teams, you’ll investigate issues, apply practical engineering solutions, and support robust decision-making through modelling and analysis. You’ll also ensure a consistent, customer-focused approach while enabling cost recovery from development activities.
