Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Scheduler/Planner for infrastructure projects in New Zealand. You will provide scheduling services, conduct baseline reviews, and prepare progress reports with emphasis on risks and opportunities.

The role requires a tertiary degree in engineering/construction/PM and a minimum of five years' on-site planning experience. Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project is essential; knowledge of Asta or similar tools is advantageous.

Qualifications

  • Tertiary degree in Engineering, Construction, Building or Project Management.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Scheduler / Planner on Infrastructure projects.
  • On-site construction experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS Project; knowledge of Asta or similar is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Responsibilities

  • Provide scheduling services across diverse Infrastructure projects.
  • Conduct Pre-baseline reviews of contractor's programmes to check adherence to contractual requirements and industry standards.
  • Prepare progress update reports and highlight key schedule risks and opportunities to the clients.
  • Recommend corrective action and create acceleration programmes in case of major delays.
  • Arrange meetings with client-side stakeholders to understand inputs and deliverables and create an Integrated Master Works Programme.
