Job summary

AECOM New Zealand is seeking a Project Controls Specialist / Project Scheduler to join our team, delivering scheduling and project controls for complex infrastructure programmes.

You'll develop and maintain programmes, monitor progress, and identify risks to meet delivery milestones. The role involves cost tracking, reporting and collaboration with managers, technical teams and clients to provide clear, actionable insights.

Qualifications

• Strong scheduling capability across multiple projects
• Experience with project controls, cost tracking and forecasting
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Able to turn complex project data into clear insights

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and update project schedules and programme plans
• Monitor progress and identify schedule risks and dependencies
• Manage baselines and support programme change management
• Provide schedule analysis and advice to project managers and delivery teams
• Support monthly project reporting and performance reviews
• Monitor project costs, budgets and forecasts
• Undertake variance analysis and performance reporting
• Support risk, change and Earned Value Management activities
