Job summary

NZ Transport Agency Waka Kotahi is seeking a Scheduling Principal Specialist to lead scheduling best practice across our infrastructure portfolio. You will provide expert guidance to project teams and senior stakeholders to enhance planning quality, schedule realism and forecasting confidence.

You'll identify critical path risks with project controls and risk teams, driving better decision-making through high-quality schedule insights. Experience with Primavera is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in project scheduling and project controls.
• Strong understanding of critical path analysis and schedule risk management.
• Experience developing and assuring complex infrastructure schedules.
• Strong analytical and forecasting capability.
• Ability to communicate complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
