Job summary

Hilton Brown Swim School – Hamilton, North Island is seeking an Infant Instructor to teach our Infant and Preschool Programme. You will work with babies and toddlers to develop water confidence and safety, with full training provided.

The role requires Sunday morning availability 7:45am - 10:15am, with potential for extra shifts. A positive, communicative attitude and love of helping children succeed are essential.

Qualifications

• No formal experience required; full training provided.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive can-do attitude.
• Enjoy interacting with babies and children.

Responsibilities

• Teach infants 3 months to 3 years in water confidence and safety.

Hilton Brown Swim School – Hamilton, North Island

We have had an awesome opportunity become available to join our fabulous team at our Chartwell pool!

We are looking to train an instructor to teach our Infant and Preschool Programme.

Our Infant swimmers are in the water with a parent or caregiver and range in age from 3 months to 3 years. Once they turn 3 years they move into our Preschool programme. This is an incredibly rewarding and fun position. As an Infant Instructor you will be passionate about teaching water confidence and safety and comfortable working with babies, toddlers and young children.

We provide FULL training to all our instructors. We hire people with great communication skills and a positive can‑do attitude who have a love of helping others succeed. Then we train them to become the best swimming instructors possible. It is essential that you have a love of the water and enjoy interacting with children.

Hours of work:

Successful applicants will be available for a Sunday morning shift 7:45am - 10:15am. There is the possibility of picking up additional cover shifts if desired.
