Selwyn Swim School at Selwyn District Council in Rolleston, NZ, seeks a Swim School Instructor to deliver lessons to preschool and school‑aged children, with morning, afternoon, and weekend sessions. Emphasis on safety, progress, and positive encouragement.

Our community loves to swim, and we proudly work with preschool- and school-aged children during weekday mornings, afternoons, and weekend mornings. This is an active and rewarding role where you will contribute to our community through helping children develop essential life skills.
The role is on a permanent part-time basis, 28.25 hours per week. Extra hours may be available to cover leave or additional classes.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday - 11:45am-2:45pm and then 3:15pm-6:15pm
Sunday 8.15am - 1.00pm
You will be comfortable working with preschool and school-aged children, committed to working positively within a team and value the importance of swim safety.
To be successful in this role you will be committed to completing all training required as follows from Wednesday 7 October 9.00am - 4.30pm and Friday 9 October 8.30am - 4.30pm October 2026.
