Job summary

WineWorks Marlborough Limited is seeking an experienced electrical maintenance engineer to join our Engineering team in Marlborough. You will maintain and improve production equipment, supporting a range of motors, PLCs and automated systems to keep the plant running smoothly.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will perform installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of electrical, pneumatic and automated systems, while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across

Qualifications

NZ Registered Electrician with current certification.
At least 5 years of experience in industrial/manufacturing/ FMCG environments.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience with electrical control systems, PLCs, motors and variable speed drives.
Ability to read electrical schematics and technical drawings.
Experience with preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
Commitment to Health & Safety and compliance standards.
Welding, machining, hydraulic or pneumatic experience would be advantageous.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Maintain and repair electrical, pneumatic and automated systems across the plant.
Install, maintain and troubleshoot electrical controls on production equipment.
Minimise downtime and maximise production efficiency.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives at the site.
