Job summary
MCC Auckland is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our engineering and maintenance team. This hands-on role focuses on maintaining and improving the reliability of printing presses, production machinery and related equipment in a busy manufacturing environment.
You will work across electrical, electronic, control and electro-mechanical systems, with a strong emphasis on safety and problem-solving.
Qualifications
- NZ EWRB Registered Electrician with current practising licence.
- Trade-qualified Electrician or Millwright (dual-trade valued).
- Experience in electrical maintenance and fault-finding in an industrial setting.
- Strong diagnostic skills with electrical control systems.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on printing presses and production equipment.
- Carry out planned preventive maintenance and reliability improvements.
- Troubleshoot PLCs, VSDs, servo systems, motors, sensors and safety circuits.
- Read electrical schematics and technical manuals.
- Install, commission and upgrade machinery and control equipment.
- Collaborate with operators and maintenance team to resolve issues.
- Maintain maintenance records and stock levels.
