About the Role

Our client is looking for a diligent Electrical Maintenance Engineer to ensure the optimal functioning and reliability of electrical systems and equipment within their manufacturing facility in Queenstown. You will be responsible for preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical machinery, contributing directly to operational uptime and production efficiency. This role requires a hands‑on approach, strong diagnostic skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. You will be a key member of the operations and maintenance team, supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine preventative maintenance on all electrical equipment, including motors, control panels, power distribution systems, and lighting.
• Diagnose and repair electrical faults and breakdowns promptly to minimize production downtime.
• Install, test, and commission new electrical equipment and systems.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Implement and adhere to strict safety protocols and lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts in maintenance procedures and equipment reliability.
