We are seeking an experienced learning coach (teacher) to deliver the NZ Curriculum the way it was intended to take on this role in our learning support team as one of three Inclusive Learning Designers (ILDs) across our school. Our ILDs work collaboratively to distribute SENCO and LSC duties across a wider, supportive team.
“At Ormiston Junior College ILDs work directly alongside a wider design team (middle leaders), supported by a leader of learning (senior leader) to drive the implementation of Inclusive Design initiatives at our school - specifically around learner-centred design and targeted supports and school-wide systems to benefit learners, including those with with special education needs, an increasing number of ORS funded learners (or HCN).”
Specific duties will be negotiated with the successfully appointed candidates with ILD portfolio responsibilities distributed across the ILD team.
