The ideal candidate brings a Master's degree, rigorous knowledge of special education laws, and at least four years' experience

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Special Education, Educational Psychology, or a related field.
• Registered with the appropriate professional body and possess relevant qualifications/certifications.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in special needs education, with at least 2 years in a leadership or coordination role.
• In-depth knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs.
• Collaborate with teachers to adapt curriculum and instructional strategies to meet diverse learning requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to educators, parents, and guardians regarding special education policies and best practices.
• Liaise with external specialists, therapists, and community resources to provide comprehensive support services.
• Monitor student progress, conduct assessments, and ensure compliance with legal and educational requirements.
