Qualifications

• Previous experience working with children with special needs is essential.
• A qualification or certification in special education, childcare, or a related field is highly desirable.
• Patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm and effective in challenging situations.
• Strong understanding of child development and common special needs conditions.
• Excellent communication and observational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one support to children with special needs, assisting with academic, social, and personal care tasks.
• Implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy recommendations under the guidance of educators and specialists.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and encouraging environment that promotes the child's confidence and self-esteem.
• Assist with the development of communication, motor skills, and social interaction capabilities.
• Collaborate effectively with teachers, therapists, parents, and other support staff.
• Adapt activities and learning materials to meet the specific needs of each child.
