You will work with engineering to automate repetitive tasks, improve processes and implement AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, Power Automate and APIs in daily operations.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT, Computer Science, Networking or Information Systems qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, networks and business applications.
• Experience installing and configuring ICT equipment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, software, POS equipment, printers and other ICT devices.
• Provide technical support to staff, merchants and authorized users.
• Support Microsoft 365 environments and cloud applications.
• Assist with Digital wallet, payment, POS, card and merchant technology platforms.

We are looking for an ICT Support Technician – AI & Automation to join our growing technology team.

This is not a traditional ICT support role. In addition to supporting our day-to-day technology environment, you will help us implement practical AI and automation solutions that improve the way our business operates.

About the Role

You will support Ant Technology’s hardware, software, networks, applications and FinTech systems while working with our engineering and development teams to improve processes through AI and automation.

You may solve a technical issue today, then help automate the process tomorrow so the same problem requires less manual intervention in future.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, network and system issues.
• Install, configure and maintain computers, software applications, POS equipment, printers and other ICT devices.
• Provide technical support to staff, merchants and authorised users.
• Support computer networks, internet connectivity, cloud applications and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Assist with AntBank’s digital wallet, payment, POS, card and merchant technology platforms.
• Configure and adapt applications to meet business and user requirements.
• Support websites, portals and web-based systems where required.
• Work with engineering and development teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain clear technical documentation, system records and support procedures.
• Assist and share knowledge with other technicians where required.

AI & Automation

A key part of this position is helping Ant Technology introduce practical AI and automation into everyday business operations.

You will help identify repetitive processes and implement improvements using technologies such as:

• ChatGPT and OpenAI technologies
• Claude
• Microsoft Power Automate
• Microsoft 365
• SharePoint
• AI agents and automated workflows
• APIs and system integrations

Examples may include AI-assisted internal support, automated workflows, document processing, knowledge assistants, merchant support automation and internal reporting.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable asking: "Can we automate this?" and has the technical ability to help turn that idea into a working solution.

What We’re Looking For

You should have a strong foundation in ICT support and troubleshooting, with an interest in AI and automation.

Ideally, you will have:

• A relevant IT, Computer Science, Networking or Information Systems qualification, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Experience with hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, networks and business applications.
• Experience installing and configuring ICT equipment.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• An interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies.

Experience with FinTech, payment systems, POS/EFTPOS, digital wallets, APIs, Power Automate, ChatGPT or Claude would be an advantage.
