Greater Wellington invites an ICT Operations Coordinator to join our Information and Communication Technology team in Wellington. We're looking for an ICT Operations Coordinator to join our Information and Communication Technology team. This permanent, full-time role is based in our central Wellington office.
This is a varied role at the centre of our technology leadership function, reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer.
You will help the ICT Leadership Team work effectively by coordinating leadership priorities, supporting clear decision-making, facilitating key meetings and planning sessions, and ensuring important actions and commitments are followed through.
You’ll also help us improve how we work. That includes strengthening leadership rhythms, simplifying reporting and governance processes, supporting clear communication across ICT, and making smart use of Microsoft 365, automation and approved AI tools.
This role would suit someone who enjoys working across people, information and systems, and who is comfortable bringing structure and clarity without creating unnecessary bureaucracy.
Experience in local government or another complex public-sector environment would be useful but is not essential.

The total remuneration for this position, including all benefits, is $74,724 to $112,086 per annum, with a midpoint of $93,405. Starting remuneration will depend on the skills and experience of the successful applicant.
