Job summary

Greater Wellington invites an ICT Operations Coordinator to join our Information and Communication Technology team in Wellington. This permanent, full-time role reports to the Chief Technology Officer and focuses on coordinating leadership priorities, facilitating key meetings, and ensuring actions are followed through.

You will help the ICT Leadership Team work effectively, improve reporting and governance, and promote smart use of Microsoft 365, automation and AI-enabled tools.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting or enabling a senior leadership team in a complex organisation.
• Strong facilitation skills with the ability to help groups reach clear outcomes and decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, synthesising complex information clearly.
• Strong organisational and systems thinking, linking priorities, risks and commitments.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence without formal authority.
• High digital fluency with Microsoft 365 and contemporary collaboration tools.
• Sound judgement and discretion with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and improve the operating rhythm of the ICT Leadership Team.
• Facilitate meetings, planning sessions, retrospectives and workshops.
• Support effective decisions by bringing together clear, relevant information.
• Maintain visibility of leadership priorities, actions, risks and commitments.
• Coordinate leadership reporting, briefings and communications.
• Support governance forums and ensure decisions are followed through.
• Identify opportunities to simplify and improve leadership processes and ways of working.
