Job summary

Auckland Airport is seeking an ICT Design Lead to shape the digital infrastructure that underpins its growth. You’ll lead the design and governance of precinct-wide ICT assets, ensuring new and evolving infrastructure is built to high quality and scalable standards.

Working across Digital, Infrastructure and Property, you’ll partner with internal teams, contractors and partners to embed technology requirements from the outset and deliver outcomes that support operations and innovation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT or related field is required.
• RCDD credentials required.
• 15+ years ICT design, construction and consultancy experience in large environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICT design across digital, infrastructure and property projects from concept to sign-off.
• Develop and champion campus-wide ICT design standards and frameworks.
• Act as digital design liaison across Engineering, Infrastructure, Property, designers and contractors.
• Review designs to ensure alignment with ICT standards and business needs.
• Identify ICT design risks, dependencies and opportunities across projects.
• Contribute to project scoping, business cases, RFx responses and design decisions.
• Perform design reviews, site inspections, commissioning and QA.
• Drive continuous improvement by adopting emerging technologies.
