Job summary

Mott MacDonald in Auckland is seeking a Senior ICT Engineer to lead ICT design for buildings and infrastructure. You will mentor junior engineers, drive multi-disciplinary projects, and shape the digital backbone of the built environment.

You’ll collaborate with clients, deliver high-quality specifications, and contribute to innovative building services across local and international projects. A values-driven, inclusive culture supports growth and flexibility in this role.

Qualifications

• Degree-qualifed engineer with 5+ years ICT design experience for buildings and infrastructure.
• Familiar with BIM tools and industry standards.
• Certifications (RCDD, PSP, CCNA, CCNP) and professional memberships.

Responsibilities

• Lead ICT design and delivery across multi-disciplinary projects.
• Engage with clients and end users to understand needs and co-create solutions.
• Produce high-quality specifications, reports, schematics, and solution briefs.
• Design and manage systems including: Structured Cabling & Telecoms Distribution, Data Networks & Wireless LAN, CCTV, Access Control & Surveillance, Audio-Visual & Public Address, BMS & SCADA, Information & Cyber Security.
