Job summary

Lovens Building Supplies is seeking an experienced ICT Business Analyst to support digital transformation across retail, wholesale, warehousing, logistics, and online operations in New Zealand.

The ICT Business Analyst will work with management and operational teams to analyse business processes, identify technology solutions, and deliver system improvements that enhance operational efficiency and support business growth.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related discipline.
• At least three years of ICT Business Analysis experience.
• Experience with ERP, CRM, inventory and warehouse management systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience preparing business requirements, process documentation, and system specifications.

Responsibilities

• Analyse business operations across purchasing, inventory, warehousing, retail and online sales.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Create current-state ('As-Is') and future-state ('To-Be') process maps.
• Recommend digital solutions to support growth and scalability.
• Prepare business cases and cost-benefit analyses.
• Lead business analysis components of ERP, CRM, inventory, procurement, POS, warehouse management, and e-commerce projects.
• Gather requirements from department managers and convert them into functional specifications.
• Coordinate UAT, document outcomes and monitor resolution before production.
• Support system integration with accounting, online sales, inventory, courier platforms, and supplier data.
• Develop dashboards and KPI reporting for management.
• Ensure ICT solutions comply with policies, cybersecurity requirements, and data governance standards.
