Placements24 is seeking a proactive Service Desk Analyst to join our team serving clients in the Queenstown area. You will provide efficient IT support, troubleshoot issues, and help maintain system performance.

This hybrid role offers flexibility while contributing to IT operations for the Eastern Cape region. You will log requests, diagnose hardware/software/network issues, provide first-level support, and assist with user account management.

Qualifications

• Experience in a service desk or IT support role.
• Strong understanding of IT systems and common applications.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Clear communication and customer-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Log, prioritise and resolve IT support requests from users via multiple channels.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues.
• Provide first-level support and escalate complex problems to appropriate teams.
• Maintain accurate records of incidents and resolutions in the service desk system.
• Assist with user account management and access control.
• Contribute to development and maintenance of the IT knowledge base.
