Job summary

Auckland Council in Albany is seeking a Senior CCC Assessor to lead the delivery of building consent processing and inspections in line with the Building Code. You will ensure all records and assessments align with regulatory requirements while supporting the team in a fast-moving construction sector.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of cumulative experience in construction or related industries.
• Extensive knowledge of Building Act 2004, Building Regulations and Codes.
• Accreditation as Building Consent Authority MBIE Regulation 18.
• Competency MBIE Building Regulation 2006 Regulation 10.

Responsibilities

• Assess and review building consent records prior to final inspection.
• Ensure Code Compliance Certificates are issued in line with approvals.
• Provide technical advice and guidance to customers through final stages of construction.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain accreditation standards.
