Branch Manager

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Commercial team at Marsh. This role will be based in Dunedin, New Zealand.

In this role, you will lead the Dunedin branch to deliver excellent client service and meet business goals. You will work closely with senior leaders to strengthen sales performance, support team development, and drive consistent commercial outcomes. This position suits someone who can balance leadership, client focus, operational management, and financial accountability.

We will count on you to:

• Lead the Dunedin branch with clear direction, effective communication, and practical support
• Oversee branch business planning, set priorities, and help deliver revenue, expense, and trading profit targets
• Build a strong sales culture and guide renewal, broking, retention, and new business activity
• Develop team capability through feedback, coaching, performance reviews, and training support
• Maintain high standards across client service, compliance, quality practices, and operational processes
• Manage key client relationships and work collaboratively with internal leaders, insurers, and other stakeholders

What you need to have:

• Proven experience in branch, team, or people leadership within financial services, insurance, or a related commercial environment
• Strong knowledge of insurance broking, client service delivery, and commercial account management
• Demonstrated ability to manage budgets, control expenditure, and contribute to financial performance
• Thorough understanding of relevant insurance legislation, quality standards, and compliance requirements
