Job summary

New Zealand Post Group is seeking an experienced Head of Data to evolve our enterprise data capability. You will lead a high-performing team across data engineering, governance, architecture and platform operations, and shape how data and AI enable better decisions and commercial value.

Reporting to the GM Data & Enterprise Architecture, you will drive data strategy, optimise platforms, and partner with business leaders to deliver data products and insights across NZ Post.

Qualifications

• Experience leading data, analytics or data platform teams in large organisations.
• Strong understanding of modern data ecosystems and cloud technologies.
• Ability to influence executive stakeholders and balance business and tech priorities.
• Proven track record delivering data transformation and platform modernisation.

Responsibilities

• Lead NZ Post's enterprise data strategy, platforms and operating model.
• D rive adoption of data and AI capabilities across the business.
• Oversee information governance, compliance and data quality.
• Optimize platform performance and cost efficiency across the data estate.
• Partner with leaders to develop data products, services and insights.
• Coach and develop a high-performing data team.
