Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking a Head of Data to lead our enterprise data capability across data engineering, governance, architecture and platform operations. This hybrid role is based in Auckland (Highbrook) or Wellington (CBD) and focuses on evolving the data journey, unlocking value from assets and scaling modern data and AI across the organisation.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years' experience across data, analytics, data platforms, architecture or information management.
• Strong stakeholder leadership and ability to influence at executive level.
• Commercially astute with experience managing budgets and value delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead the enterprise data strategy, platforms and operating model.
• Oversee information governance, data quality and platform performance.
• Partner with business leaders to develop data products and insights.
• Lead and develop a high-performing data team.
