Job summary

New Zealand Post is seeking an experienced Head of Data to lead the next evolution of our enterprise data capability. Hybrid working, based in Auckland (Highbrook) or Wellington (CBD), will enable shaping data, information management and AI to enable better decisions, innovation and commercial value.

Reporting to the General Manager Data & Enterprise Architecture, you will lead a multi-disciplinary team across data engineering, governance, architecture and platform operations, driving

Qualifications

10+ years in data/analytics leadership roles.
Experience in complex organisations and modern data ecosystems.
Ability to balance strategy with delivery and influence executives.

Responsibilities

Lead and evolve NZ Post's enterprise data strategy, platforms and operating model.
Drive adoption of data and AI capabilities across the business.
Oversee information management, governance and compliance.
Optimise data platform performance, value delivery and cost efficiency.
Develop data products and insights with business leaders.
