Job summary

Cushman & Wakefield is seeking an experienced HVAC Supervisor to lead our Auckland Trade Services team. This hands-on role combines field work with team coordination, customer engagement, and operational oversight.

You will report to the HVAC and Plumbing Manager and ensure quality, safety, and on-time delivery across planned maintenance and projects. NZ-qualified or senior HVAC‑R experience and IQP certification are valued.

Qualifications

• NZ-qualified or highly experienced HVAC‑R technician.
• Minimum 5 years' HVAC industry experience.
• IQP certification.
• Strong technical fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.
• Previous supervisory, leadership, or mentoring experience is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Strong organisational and planning abilities.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office applications and tablet‑based systems.
• Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Auckland HVAC team in daily operations.
• Act as the primary escalation point for technical issues and customer requirements.
• Manage upgrades, minor works, and maintenance‑related projects.
• Support quotation and pricing processes alongside estimating teams.
• Ensure all additional works are approved before commencement.
• Promote and maintain HSSE Q&R standards.
• Conduct site inspections, quality audits, and work‑in‑progress checks.
• Monitor and drive planned preventative maintenance (PPM) completion.
• Support technicians with technical guidance and workflow prioritisation.
• Maintain accurate job documentation and invoice information.
• Build strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

About The Role

Reporting to the HVAC and Plumbing Manager, you will provide day‑to‑day leadership and technical support to our Auckland HVAC team.
