Job summary

Fluid Recruitment is seeking an experienced HSEQ and Systems Manager to own integrated management systems, risk frameworks and assurance across a busy civil construction business. The role combines governance with pragmatic system improvements to support safe operations and project delivery.

Leading ISO 45001, 9001 and 14001 activities, you will drive continuous improvement, develop practical processes, and partner with senior leadership to embed accountability, digital solutions and measurable

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent qualification.
• Experience developing or improving integrated management systems in high-risk environments.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 including audits and compliance.
• Experience overseeing risk frameworks and providing assurance of controls.
• Proven leadership guiding teams and engaging senior management.
• Ability to translate regulatory and client requirements into practical systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting and organisational skills with trend assessment.
• Good digital and systems capability with interest in automation and process improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, governance and continual improvement of integrated management systems, policies, procedures and workflows.
• Oversee ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certification requirements and audits.
• Maintain oversight of critical risk frameworks, assign responsibilities and verify controls.
• Establish effective assurance processes and provide senior leadership with clear reporting on compliance and risks.
• Identify opportunities to simplify processes, reduce duplication and introduce digital solutions.
• Translate business priorities into practical HSEQ, systems and assurance plans with measurable objectives.
• Lead and support the HSEQ Team Leader and embed accountability across the business.
• Collaborate with regional and operational leaders to ensure documentation, controls and compliance are implemented.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders including clients, auditors and regulators.
