Job summary

Southbase Construction is seeking a Services Manager to develop high-level systems for building services engineering and management across our major projects. They will represent the Company on tenders and major project delivery, ensuring successful services management and subcontractor performance.

The role requires leadership on safety, quality, cost, and time, and will involve guiding engineers and service managers while advancing our Inside the Box culture and strategic targets.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field such as Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years in a Building Services role, with HVAC desirable.
• Experience delivering projects over $50m.
• Experience leading teams of engineers and service managers.
• Building Information Modeling (BIM): An intermediate understanding desirable.

Responsibilities

• Represent the Company with respect to services including tender submissions and major project delivery.
• Responsible for successful services management and sub-contractors on major projects.
• Ensure safety, quality, cost, and time requirements on construction sites.
• Lead by example, championing our culture and contributing to day-to-delivery and strategic goals.
