Job summary

Department of Internal Affairs is seeking an experienced HR Systems Specialist to shape, support, and enhance the HRIS that underpins people processes. You will ensure systems are reliable, secure, compliant, and delivering value by collaborating with HR, Payroll, Finance, and Technology teams.

You will lead system enhancements, manage structures and delegations, support reporting/analytics, troubleshoot issues, and deliver robust testing for upgrades, while seeking continuous process

Qualifications

• Experience supporting, administering, and improving HR information systems in a complex organisation.
• Strong understanding of HR processes, organisational structures, and workforce data management.
• Experience gathering requirements, delivering system enhancements, and managing user acceptance testing.
• Proven ability to analyse data, identify trends, and ensure high levels of data integrity and accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with a customer-focused approach to resolving system and data issues.
• Advanced Excel skills and experience producing reports and insights to support decision-making.
