Job summary

InterContinental Wellington is seeking an enthusiastic HR Coordinator for a 9‑month fixed-term contract covering parental leave from mid November 2026 to mid August 2027. This role supports the employee experience across the hotel and works closely with hotel leaders to provide administrative and coordination support across HR activities.

• Prepare employment documentation, offers and contracts.
• Maintain employee records and HR data accuracy.
• Coordinate training and development activities.
• Provide first-line HR support and guidance to employees and managers.
• Assist with HR reporting and People & Culture initiatives.
• Support employee engagement and wellbeing activities.
• Assist with payroll preparation, processing and coordination.
