Oranga Tamariki—Ministry for Children is recruiting two HR Coordinators to join our HR Services team in Wellington. These fixed-term, full-time roles offer flexible hours and a supportive environment.
You will provide first‑tier HR advice, support onboarding, prepare letters, and use ServiceNow to deliver timely, quality HR services. A recent HR graduate or strong admin/customer service background is ideal.

We currently have two opportunities for HR Coordinators to join the HR Services team. You will provide first tier HR advice to our kaimahi and managers in line with our internal policies, procedures, and employment agreements. You will provide HR Coordination support on a range of functions that fall within our end-to-end HR process.

We have two fixed term / secondments available till 30th June 2027 and a 12-month fixed term / secondment.
This role will suit someone who is a recent HR Graduate or someone with a passion in HR looking to move into this field. You'll be someone who enjoys problem solving, is patient, shows exemplary communication and provides a high level of customer service.

Oranga Tamariki offer a step-based remuneration package, that offers progression annually for experience through tenure.
