Kāinga Ora is seeking a dedicated Coordinator - Placement and Rehousing in Dunedin for a five-month fixed-term role within the Regional Placement team. We're looking for an organised and customer-focused Coordinator - Placement and Rehousing to join our Regional Placement team.
In this role, you'll support the delivery of placement and rehousing services by coordinating the processes that help customers and whānau transition into suitable homes. Working closely with Advisors Placement and Rehousing, you'll play a critical role in matching customers to properties, maintaining accurate records, coordinating rehousing logistics, and ensuring placement activities are delivered efficiently and professionally. This is a varied role that combines administration, coordination, stakeholder engagement, and customer support. You'll work across multiple workstreams, liaise with internal teams and external providers, and help ensure customers receive a seamless experience throughout the placement and rehousing journey.
This role will be based in Dunedin, with occasional travel required across the region to support placement and rehousing activities, attend stakeholder meetings, and provide on-the-ground support to customers and whānau as needed.
