Whitestone Contracting is seeking an HR generalist for our Oamaru Head Office. This full-time, office-based role focuses on building strong relationships, supporting recruitment, onboarding, performance management and staff development across the business.

You'll work closely with managers and senior leaders, handling HR processes with discretion, and contributing to culture, engagement and workforce capability.

Qualifications

• Formal qualification in Human Resources, Business Management or equivalent.
• Practical HR experience supporting and developing employees.
• Confidence engaging with managers and senior leaders, building relationships.
• Experience with external stakeholders to grow workforce capability and culture.

Responsabilités

• Support recruitment, onboarding and employee relations activities.
• Contribute to performance management and staff development initiatives.
• Assist with HR compliance, policies and data confidentiality.
