Job summary

Placements24 in Queenstown is seeking a proactive HR Officer to support recruitment, employee relations, HR administration and policy implementation. You will manage the full recruitment cycle, maintain HR records, and assist with training programs to foster a productive workplace.

Ideal candidates hold a Diploma or Bachelor in HR, 2–4 years generalist experience, knowledge of SA labor law, and proficiency with HRIS and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in HR or related field.
• 2–4 years of experience in a generalist HR role or HR support.
• Knowledge of South African labor legislation.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Support employee relations matters, including grievance handling and disciplinary processes.
• Maintain accurate HR records and manage employee data in HR systems.
• Administer employee benefits and respond to general HR queries.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
• Organize and coordinate HR training and development programs.
