Job summary

KiwiQuest in Hanmer Springs is seeking a hospitality reception role where you will welcome guests, manage check-ins/outs, and handle inquiries in a busy tourist town known for outdoor adventures and thermal pools.

You will work rotating shifts including mornings and evenings, weekends and public holidays, with emphasis on friendly service, accuracy in cash/card transactions, and upholding brand standards.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality and hotel is an advantage.
• Flexibility to work on a rotating roster, including mornings and evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• A positive, reliable, and can-do attitude.
• Outstanding attention to detail and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an efficient and professional reception experience for guests.
• Handle daily guest check-in and check-out.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and direct inquiries.
• Accurately handle card and cash transactions.
• Handle guest complaints efficiently & effectively.
• Ensure that the Duty Manager is kept fully aware of any relevant feedback from guests and, or, other departments.
• Demonstrate and maintain high level of customer service.
• Follow company brand standards.
