Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a Hospitality and Conference Support Coordinator for a 12-month fixed-term role in Auckland. You will oversee bookings, manage the mini mart stock, assist with events, and collaborate with suppliers to run food demonstrations in our conference centre.

This role is based in our Landing Drive Support Centre, with a 40-hour week, mainly Monday to Friday, and some flexibility around events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a customer-facing role with operational focus in retail, hospitality or event management.
• Self-starter with ability to lead and manage workflow in a fast-paced team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work across multiple areas.
• Knowledge of inventory control and stocktaking processes, plus basic computer skills.
• High standards of cleanliness and hygiene, understanding current food safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage bookings and events in the conference centre.
• Stock management and replenishment of goods in the Mini mart.
• Assist in event functions when required.
• Coordinate with suppliers and stakeholders to bring food demonstrations to site.
