Job summary

Foodstuffs North Island is seeking a Hospitality and Conference Support Coordinator for our Landing Drive Support Centre in Auckland. The role oversees services across the minimart, cafe, demo kitchen, and events, ensuring smooth daily operations and exceptional guest experiences.

Based in a busy conference centre, you will partner with the Hospitality Manager to coordinate bookings, stock, and on-site demonstrations.

TeTūranga– AboutTheRole

As a Hospitality and Conference SupportCoordinatoryou’llwork closely with the Hospitality Manager to oversee the services of the minimart, cafe, test kitchen, demo kitchen, hospitalitybarand events in our conference centre – all based in our Landing Drive Support Centre! This is a detail orientated role focusing on the working mechanisms of the daily operations across these spaces.

You’llbe responsible for:

• Managing bookings and events in the conference centre.

• Stock management and replenishment of goods in our Mini mart.

• Assistingin event functions whenrequired.

• Working with suppliers and other stakeholders to bring food demonstrations to site.

This role is based on a 40-hour week andpredominately Mondayto Friday, with some flexibility needed depending on upcoming events.

You’llhavepreviousexperience in a role that is customer facing with operational focus in retail,hospitalityor event management.You’llalso be a self-starter with proven ability to work within a fast-pacedteam where attimesyou’lltake the lead to direct and manage workflow.

You’llalso have:

• Solid communication skills combined with good computer literacy.

• Capability to work between multiple areas, complete a wide range of tasks and be on your feet forlong periods.

• Good ability to interact and seek out solutions with the right stakeholders.

• Knowledge of inventory control and stocktaking processes, along with basic computer skills.

• High standardsof cleanliness and hygiene, understanding current food safety requirements.
