Job summary

Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Lakes is seeking a Store person to join the established Supply Chain team at Whakatāne Hospital in the Bay of Plenty. You will help ensure wards and services have the supplies they need to deliver high quality care, while maintaining stock accuracy and supporting daily hospital operations.

The ideal candidate will have strong clerical and numerical skills, excellent time management, and a can-do attitude.

• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Self-motivated and positive approach; able to work in a busy team.
• Willingness to lift/move items and comply with safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Ensure wards, departments and services have supplies to deliver patient care.
• Maintain stock accuracy and inventory control.
• Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to restock and deliver items to wards.
• Assist with loading/unloading and basic warehousing tasks as required.
