Job summary

Te Puna Ora o Mataatua is expanding its Homebased Support Service in Whakatāne and Opotiki and seeks compassionate, dependable Support Workers to join our kaupapa-driven team.

You will support whānau to live safely and independently in their own homes, with weekday and weekend shifts for personal care, daily living, and home management tasks. A Level 2 Health and Wellbeing qualification is preferred; a valid driver’s licence, smartphone access, and ability to pass Police Vetting are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in home and community support services is required.
• Driver’s licence must be current.
• Police Vetting must be passable.
• Smartphone access for communication and scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Support whānau in their homes and communities to live safely, independently, and comfortably.
• Assist with personal care, daily living, and home management tasks during visits.
