Healthvision is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist a sociable man in daily living, personal care, and home management in the Hutt Valley area. You will provide person-centred care, support participation in activities, and help access community resources.
Rotating day shifts, part-time up to 29 hours per week, with am/pm slots. A calm, energetic, and reliable attitude is essential; drivers with a valid NZ license are preferred as travel between clients may be required. Training provided.
We are seeking a support worker to support a highly energetic outgoing man who enjoys staying active and engaged in the community. This role involves delivering person-centered care, supporting daily living activities, personal care (PC), and home management (HM).
You will be supporting a friendly 40+year old male who enjoys walking, outdoor activities, and getting involved in arts, crafts, and other creative pursuits. He responds well to positive energy and encouragement and enjoys spending time with people who are enthusiastic and supportive.
Job Location: Hutt Valley - Lower Hutt (Wainuiomata area)
Employment Type: Permanent Part-Time (Up to 29 Hours)
Days of work: As this is community-based work, rotating rosters would be involved, including am and pm shifts.
The duration of these hours may vary, ranging from shorter to longer periods, depending on the specific needs of the people we support.
