North South Holiday Park in Christchurch is seeking a resilient receptionist with stamina, humour and a flair for linen care to join our busy team. You’ll manage bookings, guest check-ins, and front-desk duties while coordinating our on-site laundry with the housekeeping team.

This 3 x 10-hour shift role spans weekends and public holidays and involves a mix of reception, linen management, and guest service.

Qualifications

Location: Christchurch | Hours: 3 x 10-hour shifts (8:30am–6:30pm) incl. every 2nd weekend & public holidays
Type: Part-time | Pay: Competitive + paid for all hours worked

We’re North South Holiday Park, a family‑run park just minutes from Christchurch Airport, and we’re looking for a receptionist with stamina, humour, and an uncanny ability to fold a fitted sheet.

This is no sit‑behind‑the‑desk‑all‑day gig — you’ll be juggling bookings, guest check‑ins, phone calls, and keeping our commercial laundry spinning like a pro. One minute you’re recommending the best fish and chips in town, the next you’re sorting towels and king sheets like a linen ninja. If you’ve worked in a hotel, holiday park, or anything hospitality‑related, you’ll hit the ground running - don’t worry we’ll hold your hand with our onboarding training to show you how we do things here.

We’re looking for someone who:

Can keep cool when 3 phones ring and someone’s lost their cabin key

Has a memory like an elephant and a “let’s sort this” attitude

Can work weekends, public holidays & jump into shared rosters (we're open 364 days of the year)

Isn’t afraid of a busy day (think of it as free cardio) This isn't just a sit down receptionist position but a combination of reception and linen management.

Ability to manage our commercial laundry which involves moving linen to and from the office to our laundry (close by), folding sheets and towels and ensuring our house‑keeping team have what they need to make up the accommodation to a high standard.
