Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora in Auckland seeks an experienced Finance Analyst to join the Regional Finance and Contracting team. You will provide essential financial support for regional provider funding and ensure payments are processed accurately and on time.

You will work with Programme Managers and other stakeholders, combining management accounting, business partnering, and data analytics to drive improved financial processes and reporting across New Zealand's health system.

Qualifications

• Three to five years' experience in a similar finance role.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing and financial reconciliations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential financial support for regional provider funding and payments.
• Support accounts payable/receivable activities and payment processing.
• Produce financial reconciliations and month-end reporting.
• Collaborate with Programme Managers and other stakeholders to improve finance processes.
