Job summary

About the Role

We have an opportunity for an experienced Finance Analyst to join our Regional Finance and Contracting team within Planning, Funding and Outcomes. This role provides essential financial and administrative support for the management of regional provider funding. You will help ensure provider payments are processed accurately and on time, financial records are maintained to a high standard, and payment queries and discrepancies are resolved efficiently. Working closely with Programme Managers, Regional Service Managers, the Contracts team, Sector Operations and other internal stakeholders, you will support accounts payable and receivable activities, financial reconciliations, month-end processes and routine financial reporting. This is a varied, hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working with financial detail, solving problems and contributing to the continuous improvement of finance processes.

About you

You will be an organised and detail‑focused finance professional who can manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy. You will be comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a large and complex organisation.

To succeed in this role, you will bring:

• A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business, commerce or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Three to five years' experience in a similar finance, accounting or financial administration role.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing and financial reconciliations.
• The ability to interpret financial information, identify discrepancies and resolve issues using sound judgement.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem‑solving skills.
• A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong relationship‑management and communication skills.
• The ability to work effectively with minimal supervision and as part of a wider team.
• A strong commitment to integrity, accountability and high professional standards.

Experience within the health sector, public sector, provider funding or commissioning environment would be advantageous. Knowledge of government financial processes, FPIM and public‑sector accountability requirements would also be beneficial.
