Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora seeks a Finance Analyst to join the Regional Finance and Contracting team in Auckland. The role supports provider funding management, payments processing, reconciliations and financial reporting, partnering with Programme Managers and Contracts teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in finance or financial admin, with strong analytical skills, accuracy and ability to meet deadlines in a busy public sector environment.

Qualifications

• A diploma or degree in accounting, finance, business, commerce or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Three to five years' experience in a similar finance, accounting or financial administration role.
• Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, payment processing and financial reconciliations.
• Strong analytical, organisational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support provider funding management and payments.
• Assist accounts payable/receivable processes and financial reconciliations.
• Contribute to month-end procedures and routine financial reporting.
