Job summary

Oceania Group is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants to join Elmwood Village in Manurewa on a casual basis. You will provide personal care under registered nurses, build strong relationships with residents and families, and help maintain a safe environment.

We value empathetic, reliable team members who can rotate shifts including weekends and nights, contributing to a community-focused aged care experience across New Zealand.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving experience.
• Compassionate, patient and empathetic approach.
• Clear communicator with a collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support to residents under RN guidance.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with residents, families and team.

• A compassionate nature and genuine empathy for older adults.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and night shifts.
