Job summary

Elmwood Village in Manurewa, Auckland, is seeking compassionate Healthcare Assistants for casual shifts through Oceania. You will support residents with personal care, build trusting relationships, and work with a dedicated team to uphold high care standards.

This role suits students or those starting a career in aged care, offering meaningful contribution in a supportive, purpose-driven environment across a rotating schedule including weekends and nights.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of caregiving or similar experience.
• Compassionate nature and genuine empathy for older adults.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative spirit.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster, including weekends and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personal care and support to residents under RN guidance.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with residents, families and the team.
