Job summary

Accenture New Zealand in Wellington is seeking a strong AI & Data professional to join our team. You will work with public sector clients to drive AI adoption, deliver data-driven solutions, and translate complex concepts into business value.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, translate technical ideas for senior stakeholders, and support solution architecture, implementation, and adoption of AI capabilities in local client engagements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in AI, data, and analytics.
• Experience with AI/ML, data platforms, data strategy, or analytics delivery.
• Experience working with the public sector is highly desirable.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Experience delivering end-to-end data or AI solutions in complex environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Exposure to cloud data ecosystems.

Responsibilities

• Engage with public sector clients to understand business challenges and identify AI and data-driven opportunities.
• Support the design and delivery of AI, data, and analytics solutions aligned to client needs.
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused insights and recommendations.
• Contribute to solution architecture, implementation, and adoption of AI capabilities.
• Bring Accenture’s AI, Data & Health & Public Services offerings into local client engagements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Digital Core and Industry & Enterprise.
• Support business development activities including proposals, client presentations, and thought leadership.
• Build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and act as a credible advisor in client discussions.
