Job summary

Savor Group is seeking a Head Baker or Pastry Chef for Amano Bakery in Auckland to lead daily bakery operations and ensure exceptional product quality and guest experiences. You should have at least 2 years in a similar role, be skilled in hand molding and traditional techniques, understand French and Italian breads, and be available to work weekends with a passion for artisanal baking.

You will also recruit, onboard and develop staff, implement processes with the executive chef and production

Qualifications

• Two+ years in a comparable bakery role.
• Competence in hand molding and traditional techniques.
• Understanding of French and Italian bread products.
• Ability to work weekends and deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

• Day to day operations of the bakery at all times.
• Quality execution of all bakery offerings at all times.
• Recruitment, onboarding, development and performance management.
• Development, implementation and compliance of bakery processes and workflows.
