Job summary

Amano Bakery, part of Savor Group, is seeking an experienced Baker to join our artisan bakery team in Auckland. You will craft croissants, sourdoughs, and other breads using traditional methods and hand moulding; weekend availability is preferred.

2-3+ years' experience or a trades qualification in baking is required, plus a passion for delivering exceptional bread and dining experiences. Join a dynamic, supportive team and contribute to quality, wholesale packing, stock management and staff

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years experience in baking or a trades qualification in a similar role.
• Competent in hand moulding and traditional baking techniques.
• Understanding of French and Italian bread products is valued.

Responsibilities

• Quality execution of all bakery offerings (croissants, doughnuts, breads).
• Packing orders for wholesale delivery.
• Stock management including ordering, receipting, storing, rotation and wastage.
• Assisting in the development of junior team members.
