Job summary

Millennium Services Group in Invercargill, NZ is seeking a hands-on Site Manager to lead cleaning and security operations at a key commercial site. You will be visible on site, guide teams, and take ownership of daily operation with the support of a wider regional team.

The role requires travel to Dunedin and Central Otago roughly once per month, building strong client relationships and delivering contractual outcomes while driving health, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience leading frontline teams in cleaning, security or service operations.
• Strong people leadership and ability to get the best from your team.
• Confident in dealing directly with clients and stakeholders.
• Current New Zealand Driver Licence and valid working rights in NZ.

Responsibilities

• Lead cleaning and security teams across the site.
• Manage staffing, rosters, attendance and daily coverage.
• Act as primary operational contact for the client.
• Ensure service standards and contractual outcomes are met.
• Conduct quality inspections and implement improvements.
• Coach teams and build capability and accountability.
• Maintain health, safety and compliance standards.
• Coordinate specialist cleaning, periodic works and scheduled services.
• Manage equipment, machinery and site resources.
• Respond promptly to incidents and operational issues.
• Identify smarter ways to improve productivity and service delivery.
