Job summary

Tony’s Tyre & Auto Care in Palmerston North is seeking a hands-on leader to support the Branch Manager in driving day-to-day performance of the store. You’ll build a high-performing team, deliver an outstanding customer experience, and stay close to the technical work you love.

This is a 45-hour-per-week role, Monday to Saturday, offering leadership, coaching, and development opportunities, with a focus on sales, stock management, and safety across the workshop.

Responsibilities

• Support Branch Manager in leading, coaching, and developing the team

• Maintain high standards for store presentation and Health & Safety
• Perform wheel alignments and hands-on workshop activities
• Assist with training, performance management, and adherence to procedures
